A small-group morning helping keep a historic site clean, working only on what the site’s caretakers ask us to do.

A paved ancient street lined with stone columns leading to a triumphal arch

About this event

Heritage sites need care, not enthusiasm in the wrong places. We follow the instructions of the people who manage the site: removing litter, clearing paths and never touching the stones themselves.

Objectives

  • Remove litter from paths and open areas
  • Support the site’s caretakers with tasks they choose

What to bring

  • Water bottle
  • Sun hat or rain jacket, depending on the forecast
  • Closed shoes you don't mind getting dirty
  • Work gloves if you have them (we bring spares)

Practical information

Places are limited so we can work carefully in a small group.

Accessibility

Uneven historic paving and some steps.
